CAP is thrilled to team up with The Honeypot Children’s Charity for 2018 and we will be hosting numerous events and challenges throughout the year to raise funds and awareness of Honeypot.
CAP undertook a shortlisting exercise to help us determine our ideal partner – a key element of which was a charity that works with children in the local area. After some research, Honeypot stood out for the team!
CAP is keen to get cracking with our fundraising, with ideas such as a bake-off, a cycling challenge from London to Paris and the Windsor Half Marathon. Honeypot is a keen advocate of sports events so this will tie in nicely to those currently being considered by the team. Stay tuned for what CAP team will be doing to support them.
The Honeypot Children’s Charity’s “ONE CHILDHOOD, ONE CHANCE” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BppaQ6ocieU
Since 1996 the Honeypot Children’s Charity has been working to enhance the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged between 5 – 12 years old. They are the only charity in the UK to provide respite breaks and on-going outreach support throughout a child’s formative years.
It provides young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provides a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.
