CAP and Care South are proud and delighted to have been shortlisted as one of three finalists in the ‘Best Care Village’ category for the National Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2018, the award was presented at a ceremony at the Lancaster London Hotel last week.
St Ives project was designed by CAP and is a newly-built, Country House care home, offering specialist nursing, residential and dementia care. The community development consists of St Ives House, a 60-bedroom care home, with ensuite facilities, offering 24-hour care, themed lounges, bistro and hair salon. Alongside the care home St Ives Place is a collection of 14 one, two and three bedroom stylish apartments providing assisted living. There are also four spacious three-bedroom country cottages.
CAP team enjoyed working on the project for the last three years and it’s fantastic to see the residents enjoying all the facilities in the Home.
Pinders have been organising the Healthcare Design Awards since 1999, and the presentation ceremony is now considered to be one of the ‘must-go’ diary dates in the healthcare calendar.
The Awards aim to promote and recognise the very best developments in all types of care-related property. The Award categories have been selected to recognise the achievements of the widest range of designers, developers and operators. Care establishments of all sizes, types and locations have the opportunity to enter each year.
A big massive thank you once more to the team who helped make the vision a reality. Being shortlisted for this category is a wonderful achievement and acknowledgement of all the hard work, dedication, passion, effort and commitment to creating this beautiful facility.
