The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution’s (RMBI) Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh Court care home had its official opening last week by HRH The Duke of Kent.
The home provides support for 45 residents offering residential care, nursing and dementia services. There is a large outside space designated to encourage movement between inside and out and embracing natural daylight within the building. Ease of access to balconies and patios gives independence and privacy when required, but also connect the wander routes around the property. Inside communal areas include a café bar, lounges, dining rooms, private dining and hair salon.
HRH The Duke of Kent had a tour and met residents as part of the opening which made the day even more special for those making it their home.
