A quick trip for Melissa Magee and George Morris to Amsterdam to explore rehabilitation centres to see how hydrotherapy is proving a valuable source of treatment. Innova Care Concepts kindly organised this trip for us where we met Tieleman, manufacturer of the pools, who demonstrated and explained the features of the latest Hydrotherapy pool designs.

We visited two rehabilitation centres on the outskirts of Amsterdam. The first was Basalt Rehabilitation Centre at the Leiden Bio Science Park to see a larger stainless steel Hydrotherapy pool in use, followed by a visit to De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation Centre in Utrecht to see a smaller, recently renovated pool using new materials. Both had movable floors, one with part movable floor and integrated stair access. A huge thank you for this educational visit.
