George Morris has become Director – Architect Technician and shareholder at Carless + Adams Ltd from 1st April 2024 alongside Melissa Magee, Company Director + Architect. Growth in the business has demanded specialist technical skill sets and George Morris has been instrumental in driving the team with this. Neil Rutland, Associate, left the business in January 2024 to take early retirement and Stewart Anderson joined Carless + Adams as Associate Director.
George Morris has been with Carless + Adams since early 2018 when he joined from Nottingham Trent University with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology. Joining as a Junior Technician, George has worked steadfastly and progressed through the business.
As part of the Management team George has been instrumental in developing and driving the direction of the business, maintaining and enhancing client relationships, formulating sales strategies, instigating and leading projects and focuses on recruitment. His input will ensure the business continues to provide exemplary services to existing clients and also to new clients. The aim of the business is to build on the 18% growth year on year and with a solid management team of Melissa, George and Stewart supported by a team of experienced and talented architects and technicians this is definitely achievable.
George comments on his new role as Director “Being part of a business that enables change and positively impacts people’s lives though architecture is something I feel privileged to be part of. The UK has an aging population with insufficient suitable accommodation available, so to be able to support the business in growth though designing homes that enable people to proactively right size and enhance their lives through their home environment is something I feel very passionate about.”
