Carless + Adams receive a second planning approval in the same week
Following on from Dudbrook Hall’s intergenerational planning approval, we were delighted when our extension plans at Bickley Park Road also received full planning permission this week. It was granted with a unanimous vote from Bromley Borough Council planning committee.
Following on from Dudbrook Hall’s intergenerational planning approval, we were delighted when our extension plans at Bickley Park Road also received full planning permission this week. It was granted with a unanimous vote from Bromley Borough Council planning committee.
As an extension to the existing care home, the build will provide 27 additional bedrooms along with additional communal and staff space. The project also looks to refurbish and revitalise the existing 62 bedroom care home, creating some amazing spaces that will look to “elevate the care home experience from ordinary to extraordinary – while treating every resident who joins our care as family”.
In addition to the 89 bedrooms there will be communal areas including a Great Room, orangery and library area. These are the main lounge and dining facilities to cater for all residents functioning as a central hub. These will be complemented by small dining and lounge areas around the building to provide areas for privacy when required. A cinema, dedicated wellbeing center including Spa, hair and beauty salon, will offer the chance for residents to keep their mind, body and soul active.
The external environment has also been given a much required uplift with a completely remodeled external façade. Also, a fully accessible and secure outdoor space has been added, designed and landscaped to provide residents with an abundance of space in which residents can relax or take part in activities.
