The meaningful start of a 68-bed end of life and dementia care home in Totnes has been triggered and we look forward to seeing the build starting on site. Planning permission was granted in 2019 and the build is estimated to take between 18-24 months. The finished building has a four-storey central hub which has a library, games room and cinema. It will sit close to a newly constructed 60 flat Extra Care Development, functionally completing the site, with great views from the full height glazing across the River Dart for the future residents.
