Grade II Listed building redesign

Carless + Adams has been instructed to redesign part of the Grade II listed Taplow Court in Buckinghamshire. The origins of the building are an Elizabethan manor house which was remodelled in the early 17th century. It is the base for the National Centre of SGI-UK (Soka Gakkai International-UK is part of a network of Buddhists around the world who follow the teachings of the 13th century Japanese sage, Nichiren Daishonin). The designs will improve accessibility to the reception area and also the installation of a new lift. Carless + Adams have been given instructions by the trustees to proceed with the listed building consent and will now look to submit the planning application. We are very excited to be involved with magnificent building with such an interesting history.
