Whitstable House in Kent is a Graham Care project which will provide relationship centred care for people with ongoing nursing care needs in 101 large, individual suites. Onsite there will also be an integrated community healthcare centre to provide the capacity to care for complex patients without the need for A&E or acute admission. Designated as one of the 12 Vanguard sites in the UK, the NHS are working jointly on this project to consider new ways of delivering care to meet the growing demand. Whitstable House will be available to all GP’s and care homes in the local area with enhanced proactive community medical input.

Geoff and Aoife recently attended a Design team meeting on site with a walk through – for Aoife this enabled her to translate some of her learnings from the desk to build her knowledge and work towards her Part 3 studies.
