Last week Alfie Hill and Geoffrey Proffit undertook a site inspection to Harpwood Care Home in Sevenoaks, Kent for Graham Care. The works are at Stage 5 and are under construction. LGF & Gf has been built with Ceiling Tracks, Plasterboards and M&E elements currently being integrated. Construction of the first floor and roof is under way with Phase one to be completed in the end of 2022 and Phase two to begin and be finished in 2023.

This was Alfie’s first site visit: “It’s very insightful being involved in my first meeting with the contractor and design team to keep up with the progress being made on site from their previous meeting and identifying any problems faced and how to rectify these. It was a personal experience seeing the exposed building elements which I have only seen in drawings and I found it interesting to walk around with the project manager and seeing the advancement of Harpwood.”
