We are excited to share that we have submitted a Tender pack for Hawkinge Hydrotherapy Pool.

The proposed scheme will provide a hydrotherapy pool and gym space to both residents of Hawkinge House, and members of the public. It is part of Graham Land and Development’s initiative to promote wellbeing through hydrotherapy and exercise to their residents and the surrounding community. This development will be their first hydrotherapy pool and will be fitted with a moveable floor to allow ease of accessibility for group sessions. Carless + Adams is working with Graham Land and Development to incorporate this in our future schemes, and we are looking forward to giving the residents of Hawkinge House the opportunity to experience this space.

The hydrotherapy pool uses varying water temperatures, pressures and movements to allow for whole-body exercises, providing the care home residents with an impact free and controlled environment for fitness and general health. It also provides an often prescribed method of recuperation for those with physical or emotional complaints. The pool, along with a gym space for additional exercises and physiotherapies, will help with the general well-being of both the care home residents and the local community.
