Planning consent has been provided in Ashford on an existing approved site, where an adjusted scheme has been updated to include 10 assisted living apartments, complimenting an existing care home. These apartments have capacity for a live in carer, enabling the residents to age in place. Each apartment has independent access, with the upper floors having a wheelchair lift from the front door. This design illustrates the possibilities for enabling independence for as much and as long as possible.
