This week Carless+Adams carried out a routine CDM inspection at the Heathfield care home in East Sussex. The work is progressing well on the construction of a 48 extra care apartment block. The site was neat and tidy, and any minor items noted during the walk round were actioned immediately.

Progress is going well with the Block A (lower section) 65% complete with sanitary ware due to be installed imminently. Block B (top floor) has completed timber wall panels and the roof structure is advancing on plan.

The development includes 1 bed and 2 bed apartments in a concrete frame construction over 5 floors. The development will also offer residents communal facilities including a bar café, restaurant with outdoor seating, hair & beauty with wellness plus an activity room, private balconies and professionally landscaped gardens.
