Wren Park
Project Brief
Proposal to replace an existing care home with double the amount of accommodation. The level of accommodation must be up to the highest standard with communal areas designed to maximise natural daylighting.
Outcome
The final design proposed a 60 bed care home with high quality internal and external communal spaces that will allow residents to connect to nature.
A palette of traditional materials are proposed to echo and enhance the architectural character present at the site, particularly in the retained portion of buildings dating from 1868, these being brick, render and stone with detailing features in recon stone to windows and door openings.
Work is expected to start on site Autumn 2019.

“Carless Adams worked on 2 schemes for us. We had limited experience but they were incredibly supportive and the entire process was superbly efficient – from design to getting the final planning. We would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again."
