Through November, Carless + Adams ran a reverse advent calendar where we donated groceries goods each day.

Why in November? We choose to donate the goods in December rather than wait until January. We can probably all appreciate that the cost of living is having a great impact on us all and can only imagine the difficulties faced by people who receive from foodbanks.

The Trussell Trust supports a nationwide network of food banks and to provide emergency food and support to people facing hardship, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. The Trusell Trust’s Food Bank is located less than 2 miles from our office so we choose to donate here. Between April 2022 and March 2023, food banks in the network provided almost 3 million food supplies to people in crisis, which was a 37% increase on the previous year.

We appreciate this is a wider issue than one business can solve but knowing that what we donate is going to help local families in need is a start.
