Design + Process

We are proud of our reputation for providing a supportive, flexible, responsive and personalised service to operators, developers and clients, whether the project is a major development, a new build or an extension to an existing building.

Step 1

Following an initial conversation, we assist in establishing a brief and analysing the site context. Once appointed, we develop project objectives and aspirations and conduct a feasibility study to highlight the site’s potential. When required, we attend formal pre-application advice meetings with the local authority.

Step 2

Once development potential has been established, we work with our clients to refine the scheme. The chosen concept is developed and a full design package is submitted to the local planning authority. Acting as the agent, we liaise with the appointed planning officer to achieve the best possible outcome.

Step 3

We act as architect and lead designer within the project team to produce a compliant, coordinated working drawing package, including specification, schedules and information. We are then fully involved throughout the construction phase, attending site meetings, answering queries and advising on quality and providing information to update manuals.
